Girls’ school

In Pul-i Tscharchi, east of Kabul | Walling, 2009

In the village of Pul-i-Tscharchi, there is another school, now used by 2,000 girls from our “old” school, which had become too small for all the pupils.
The Ministry for Education in Kabul told the IAWA to build a wall around the school, because, for Afghan schools, a wall is mandatory for security reasons.

This walled enclosure was financed by the IAWA in 2009 with 40,000 dollars.
