CONSTRUCTION OF A DEEP WELL

In mid-October 2023, IAWA began the construction of a deep well for drinking water at the Ghulam Mohammad Farhad High School.
Due to the low groundwater level, which has been caused by several years of low rainfall in the Kabul region, the well will be drilled to a depth of more than 100 meters.
With the construction of the well, which will soon be completed when the underground pipes are laid, the students as well some of the high school’s neighbors will be supplied with clean drinking water.
